Take a minute to fill out a University Solidarity Petition
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, union members have been pushing our state universities to do the right thing: transition face-to-face classes to online learning, provide hazard pay for all workers, provide frequent testing and high-quality PPE, and much more. But, rather than listening to workers, students, and the scientific consensus (including many of the universities’ own researchers) the systems’ Boards of Regents are making dangerous re-opening plans for the upcoming school year.
In order to fight back we need to show the University administrators that we’re paying attention and will fight to protect ourselves, our families, and our communities. Please sign your university system’s respective petition, listed below, and share with co-workers. If you have any questions or concerns, contact organizer Sol Weiner at sweiner@cwa-tseu.org.
